Leah S

Leah S

Instructor

Hi! I'm Miss Leah and as an independent mom of 3 beautiful boys and former Pre-K teacher, working with children is a passion of mine and my favorite way to spend my time! I plan to hold a career in either Criminal Justice or Child Development & Education. Cooking in the kitchen with my grandmother, growing up, was my favorite past times, so being able to share that love of cooking, with children every day brings me so much joy! My favorite food is steak! My hobbies include crafting and spending time outdoors. I can't wait to spend time with your kids at camp & classes!

Miss Wendy

Miss Wendy

Weekend Manager

Miss Wendy has many interests and hobbies. She loves crafting, reading, writing, decorating, baking, and cake decorating, but what she loves most, is being a Nana. She moved all the way from Utah to be able to spend time with her grandchildren here in North Carolina. A few years ago, he decided she didn’t want to be a nurse anymore, so she went to culinary school and became a chef instead. Flour Power gives her the opportunity to share her love and knowledge of cooking and baking, and to throw some pretty awesome parties (something else she loves to do) with all the great kids who come to Flour Power, and she couldn’t be happier about it!

Riann Potts

Riann Potts

Garner Studio Owner

My name is Riann, (pronounced "Ryan") and I am the happy owner of the Flour Power Garner Studio! We opened our doors September 1st 2019 and have really enjoyed getting to know all of the families that have come to our events, classes and camps over the past year! My background is actually in healthcare, as I am also a nurse! I went to Nursing School in Wilson, NC right out of High School and practiced nursing for about 15 years before deciding to stay home with my youngest daughter, as a stay at home mom. I really wanted a career change, and I loved the concept of cooking with children, 2 things I am very passionate about, so Flour Power seemed like the perfect avenue for me! The community support has been extremely humbling and so very much appreciated! Each and every one of you and your children that have entered our studio are very special to us at Flour Power Garner. Our number one goal for every child that enters our doors is they have FUN and stay SAFE in our care. We have so much fun in our studio, making fun and lasting memories with all the families in the community!
