Michelle was born in Seattle, but when her family moved to New Orleans, as one of many moves, she quickly fell in love and has ever since considered New Orleans her home. Growing up with over 20 first cousins and countless family members, she always loved being around the children most. Michelle has a passion for art, music and film which made it an easy choice to attend Florida State University and major in Art History.
With over 30 years experience working in the restaurant and bar industry, Michelle has a solid background in service and culinary creativity. She enjoys cooking old family recipes as well as creating her own and finds cooking to be therapeutic. She loves to experience new restaurants around Nashville. Her greatest joy comes from spending time with her niece, Stella Blue, and being the coolest Aunt in all the land.
